Lily's Lemon Clock Steps:

If you want to recreate Lily Ardor's clock, check out the steps below. Our YouTube tutorial will show you how to apply our water-based, fast-drying color stain so you can complete projects in just one day.

Prep

Sand each piece of your project and remove debris. Apply Minwax® Water-Based Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner, let rest five minutes and remove excess. Sand again after 30 minutes.

Stain

Apply Minwax® Water-Based Solid Color Stain in the bold color of your choice. Within two minutes, wipe away excess stain and blend light and dark areas. Let dry at least three hours.

Protect

Ensure your project is protected by applying a Minwax® clear protective finish, like Minwax® Polycrylic Protective Finish or Minwax® Water-Based Oil-Modified Polyurethane.
